Robert M. Villalobos has over 15 years of experience in the accounting and tax fields. He holds an MBA degree and worked as a Controller in large and medium size companies. His primary responsibilities included preparing financial statements, budget review, bank reconcilation, payroll and supervision of the accounting department. He worked in the trenches and learned practical solutions work best in the realties of day to day business activities. Robert has taken his accounting skills and applied them the the tax market.
Robert is also an Enrolled Agent working in the tax resolution field for over 6 years. With knowledge in accounting and finance, Robert is able to quickly analyze his client's tax situation and provide reasonable cost effective solutions within the tax law. In many cases, he reduced his client's tax balances and negotiated low monthly payment plans. Robert has also successfully submitted Offer in Compromise agreements which reduced his client's tax balances by 80-90%.
Working succesfully with the IRS or orther government agencies requires solid written and oral commuication skills, knowledge of accounting, finance and tax law including finely tuned negotiation skills. Robert has these skills which will utimatetly benefit his tax clients.
